funkbeard of course, when they play “Set Your Soul Free,” I had this thought at the show…. they could really let go more and demonstrate what they mean. Letting go of all attachments, one finds oneself in a state of oneness that is, to me, the ultimate freedom. Instead, we got a noise pop exploration guided almost more by technology than music. This is where the brilliance of What’s the Use comes in: M”A strong melody wins the day!

As for that Lovin’ Cuo: it was as purposeful as it gets, played to perfection!

The encore was absolutely exquisite.
