MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 179

Good morning, and welcome to the one-hundred-and-seventy-ninth running of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday. The winner will receive an MP3 download courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of the mystery jam clip. Each person gets one guess per day, with the second “day” starting after I post the hint. A hint will be posted on Tuesday if necessary, with the answer to follow on Wednesday. Fire when ready...

Answer: @yunkfunk wasted no time and wins his third MJM by IDing the 6/9/94 It's Ice. Congrats!

VictorWootang I can't score on this one but maybe i'll get an assist.

It's Ice, from 3.0. A version where Page hits the piano rather than clav/organ for the jam.

mcgrupp81 This was true early bird gets the worm deal. Heard the first couple of seconds and was like, oh, sounds like Red Rocks 94 It's Ice. I think it was MJM #100 where they had like 6 MJMs and one of them was a Spring 94 It's Ice. I listened nearly all of the Spring 94 It's Ices in order until I got to the 5/28/94 one which was the actual MJM. Fun times! The Merriweather It's Ice from last year kind of takes you back to that 94 place. Big fan of the 4/18/92 It's Ice and 4/4/94 version too. Lyrically, it's a solid Phish song as well. I hear it can even make Julian fries.
