THE PHISH COMPANION / BIG BOAT / SUBTLE SOUNDS
Are you a Phish fan? Do you know your Phish facts? Do you know the band’s music so well that you can call a song on the first note? Come join us on October 15th at Nectar's in Burlington from 2p-5p. Lots of great prizes will be awarded to the winners including a chance to win a pair of tickets to the future Phish concert of your choice.
The WaterWheel Foundation and The Mockingbird Foundation are teaming up with Nectar’s for an afternoon of Phish trivia, Phish vinyl, and a Phish gameshow - “Subtle Sounds” - in the style of “Name That Tune”.
DJ SMAC, who brought “Subtle Sounds” to the fans at the band’s Magnaball festival, will be hosting the show. Come listen to your favorite Phish albums on vinyl, including the band’s new album “Big Boat”. Check out the latest edition of “The Phish Companion” created and published by The Mockingbird Foundation. Copies will be available for purchase at the event.
A $5 suggested donation at the door will enter you to win a Phish-related door prize. And as is customary at WaterWheel events, a raffle will be held with prizes including items from the Phish archives such as autographed limited edition posters, Phish LPs, and tickets to Phish’s upcoming New Year’s Eve concert at Madison Square Garden.
Proceeds from the afternoon event and raffle will be donated to local musical education efforts.

The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Oh the show when Trey got out roller blades and skated around the arena while playing Weekapaug? That would be 9/28/91, Buffalo, Alex.
The show when the band had to stop to 'regas the generators'? Ah yes, Beecher Hill Farm, 1988. 5/15/88 to be precise, Alex.
