User_25597_ The last paragraph was right on in that, at least to my ears, Summer '99 was the tour where they first sounded exhausted, then really exhausted, then completely over it. I saw five shows that tour and they were a different band by the end of 99 (Cypress notwithstanding for obvious reasons, being a much bigger deal). Maybe '99 wasn't the beginning of the end. It was probably the middle of the end. But it was the first time it was as obvious to me through the music that they'd started giving less of a shit.
