“This is IT?” vs “This is IT!” vs “This is IT.” runs the gamut of disappointment/confusion, excitement, and general contentment/acceptance. It’s versatile, like the band. That and the fact that Mike caused the birth of many words as I suspect people indicating their plans never just said “I am going to a music festival called IT” and instead went with “I am going to IT”, which prompts the natural follow up question as to what IT is.
