Fantastic post, Charlie! Great explanation of some of the origin(s) of the term “ hose” and thank you for taking the time to go through ~ 40 years of Hose and shining light on so many great examples. I’m delighted you included the Knickerbocker ‘18 Show of Life. It’s a beautifully odd place for the Hose to appear. One that comes to mind that I would add is the 3rd set from IT, day 1 Rock & Roll -> Seven Below -> Scents & Subtle -> Seven Below -> Spread It Round … to me, that was a thing that was it’s own Thing.
