adamopp This show was much more interesting for two reasons: (1) As Phish took the stage, the multi-day August high country monsoon clouds lifted to reveal fresh snow on the higher elevations of the mountains (bathed in alpenglow); and (2) Carlos Santana invited all four members of Phish to join him for an extended jam during his set. This jam is the source of the reference in the song "Walfredo" to Fishman ruining the set with his vacuum solo. It was cold and wet, we were dancing in our polypro and gore-tex, but the music was hot and the venue small and intimate.
