The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Steady traditional playing around the 3-4 minute mark, then Trey gives a little noodling around ( which i will mention Jon, Mike and Page keep a steadfast rhythm cooking). Around 6.43 the band connects and Trey begins escalating the guitar shred into the 7.23 minute mark. ( intentionally speaking this is going to become a dynamite blast). Returns back to the standard version, with Page going back and forth on the ivory, Jon does not let up on the beat). At 8.44 Trey begins a little groove which slows, page on organ laying deep keys. Beat persists throughout, and Trey seems to mellow down minutes 9-10, by the 12th minute mark pure anarchy, and musical chaos persists into....12.39 which turns into a steady climb and Jon pumps the rhythm based on Mike laying low. This was all Trey at this point becoming more and more aggressive with Page joining in the disruption. From 14.07 on it is more than a persistent attack it mellows before it becomes a violent beast at the 14.47 mark, thinking the jam is ending it becomes back to traditional jamming and improvisational grooving. More mild manner playing through this marathon, mellow mellow mellow, steady steady, like a sniper waiting to make a move and take a head shot. This continues by the 16.36 mark. At 17.31 we become transformed into a heady jam for the masses. Words cant explain what occurs further, but check it out yourself. My second favorite live version of any Phish song behind the Halley's comet in Maine 1999.
