HELPING FRIENDLY PODCAST: BAKER'S DOZEN RECAPS FOR ALL 13 SHOWS

[Post is courtesy of dot net user @swittersdc.]

The team at the Helping Friendly Podcast (mdphunk, rowjimmy and brad10s) and I were hard at work throughout the Baker’s Dozen, doing a Quick Hit podcast recap of every show the day after. We also included guests who were there as often as possible. We also did a Quick Hit on the 5 shows before Baker’s Dozen.

You can listen to them all through the player below (click the icon with the three lines to see all the episodes), but here are some highlights:

You can also subscribe to the podcast through iTunes or any podcast app you use. Let us know what you think!

GreatWent19 These quick hits became essential listening during the Dozen. Didn't miss a single one. Kudos to the crew at HFP.

Couldn't agree more. They keep me on tour when I cannot make it.

cmurtaugh27 The Baker's Dozen has been good for both the physical and online communities. More engagement; more online traffic. I am sure phish.net and HF Pod have seen a spike. That spike is probably driven by curious onlookers who someday soon will probably be fans if they are not already, and older heads that may have been re engaged by the run, both because of it's unprecedented nature in Phistory and the great playing from the band. Music is a good driver of people coming together and rising up, and the BD is a great example of music's ability to do that.

rubbish69 I am one of those re engaged phans. One of my best friends was at all of these shows, and between his comments, and the net, (and listening to the shows themselves as soon as possible) I've found myself wanting to get off the couch more than ever. My heyday as a phan was 1995 up through 2000. Even from a distance, I can't help thinking that this is the best run of shows since, yes, fall 1997. It is indeed a great time to be a phan.
